This space was designed by Ar. R. Jagannathan as a sanctum for a religious institution using techniques and knowledge of the Vaasthu shastra and sacred geometry.
The space is covered with a asymmetrical masonry dome and is built using stabilized mud blocks.
This Project involved extending an existing 20x30 framed RCC building over onto the adjacent 20x30 plot to accommodate a bigger home.
The intent was to demolish as little as possible and build over what was already available at the site.

The Residence was built on a 60x40 plot, with the client keen on maintaining a sense of openness in space.
The intent was to create a sense of playfulness of light and dark in the spaces through fenestrations and textures, with carefully curated details throughout the home, each telling its own story.

The residence sits on a Half-Acre Property built over a footprint of 60x50. This weekend home is built in the theme of the traditional courtyard homes of Chettinadu, with a large Thinnai or Foyer at the entrance through which one enters into the home.

This Farmhouse styled row homes have been designed for a group of 3 friends with a vision to serve as a weekend home, designed in keeping with the traditional elements of Thinnai or Foyer wrapping itself around the house in symphony with modern day elements serving as a unique contrast between one and another.

This cozy home is built for a growing family of four, with 3 bedrooms, an office space, kitchen, dining area and an entertainment room.
In this house , the grey water, i.e., the waste water from the kitchens being generated is treated and recycled to be used for flushing of toilets and for gardening.
