The Weekend home is built over a half-acre property, With a footprint of 50x30.

The house is a small holiday home with a single bedroom and an otherwise open floor plan. The recurring theme of this home is the curves juxtaposed against straight lines drawn towards the sky.

The intent is to create a modern clean feel for the home with a tinge of Indianness to it. This project was designed by Ar. Anirudh for Mahijaa.

This is a Neo-Modern Style Farmhouse planned around a traditional Thotti / Internal Courtyard around which the home revolves, the house is built using mud-concrete technology in its foundation, walls and roofs as well.
